Mexico celebrates this day in honor of the battle they fought in Puebla in 1862 against France. After gaining independence from Spain, Mexico was having a pretty rough start at claiming their own nation. This battle sparks a great victory in the start of one of the world's largest nations.

Victoria Day (Canada)
In 1845 Canada declared Queen Victoria's birthday as a national holiday, unless of course if this day falls on a Sunday, then the holiday will be celebrated on the Monday. As Canadians celebrate this monarch we are reminded how God has His hands in worldly politics and can say a prayer for our world leaders. You cannot imagine the impact it will make if we all bow down and pray for our nations.

Shavuot (Feast of the Harvest)

Whit Monday
