Friendship Day
Where would we be without friends? Probably alone.

The Transfiguration
Matthew 17 tells us the story of when Christ took Peter, James and John into the mountain and to teach them that He had to die and be resurrected. He did so and according to scripture Jesus' appearance changed and He began to glow, I guess you had to be there to know exactly what that means.

International Lefthanders Day
South Paws unite! Today we celebrate all those lefties out there. With left-handers being a large portion of the public, and seeing that we have decided that being left handed isn't a consequence of being demon possessed anymore, there are a lot of cool tools and devices being developed, from scissors to baseball gloves and even camcorders. Apparently left-handers adjust more readily to seeing underwater...interesting.

Global Forgiveness Day
The name says it all. We are to be a shining light to the world and a great way to do it is by being forgiving. Christ forgave us our sins, I guess we can be forgiving to our neighbors.
